Strident woman accuses elderly widower of profiting off his late wife's free labor for their flower garden: 'I hope to God individuals like yourself actually experience happiness for once'

Look, there is no getting around it: there are a lot of marriages and long-term relationships out there that really aren't that great! All too frequently, people get together for the wrong reasons and then stay there out of fear or obligation.

However, it's also true that most of the time, it isn't helpful to make assumptions about couples. Nobody except those involved ever truly knows what goes on behind closed doors. If a relationship gets shared on the internet, though, that's not like it's going to stop anybody.

This was brought to the attention of Twitter recently when somebody shared a set of pictures implying that an elderly couple cultivated a flower garden together, which the husband then stopped doing when his wife passed away. One woman had a particularly cynical response to this that caused no shortage of controversy. Sometimes, it's better to just try to see the wholesome side and then move on.
